Purge/Clean Out Shredding

Purge/Clean Out Shredding is a great way to get rid of all those boxes/bags/containers of old files/paper that has piled up. Especially for those documents that must be kept for specific timeframes. 


When providing a quote, we will ask the number of boxes you have and their size. If the paper is in bags or other storage containers, we just need to know the number and estimated gallon sizes to provide a realistic quote.

Normal Box Sizes

When quoting for a Purge/Clean Out, we will ask what size boxes you may have. Below are the typical sizes and how they compare to each other:


  Standard Size Box (about the size of a case of copy paper)

  • Dimensions: 15” L x 12” W x 10” H
  • Capacity: 1,800 cubic inches
  • Weight Capacity: about 28 pounds of paper


  Long Letter/Legal Size Box (considered 1.5 standard size file boxes)

  • Dimensions: 24” L x 12” W x 10” H
  • Capacity: 2,800 cubic inches
  • Weight Capacity: about 44 pounds of paper

  

Long Legal Size Box (considered 2 standard size file boxes)

  • Dimensions: 24” L x 14” W x 10” H
  • Capacity: 3,600 cubic inches
  • Weight Capacity: about 56 pounds of paper
